SpiritKit has no accounts, no sign-in and no ads. Usage is anonymous — we never collect your name, email or any personal details. Your captures stay on your phone unless you deliberately save or share them. A support message is sent only when you choose to contact us.
SpiritKit uses your camera to render the live night-vision feed and the SLS ghost effect. This all happens locally, in real time. Frames are never uploaded or sent anywhere. When you capture a photo, it is composited on your device and saved to the app’s own roll; it is only added to your camera roll or shared if you choose to.
The EVP feature uses the microphone to listen to the room while you scan. Audio is processed on the device for the effect and is never recorded to a file, stored, or uploaded.
SpiritKit reads the device’s motion sensor to tell when the phone is being handled during a hunt. This signal is used only on the device and never leaves it.
No personal data, no location and no contacts. To understand which features are used, the app sends anonymous usage events tagged only with a random, install-scoped identifier — never your name, email or any way to identify you. If you use the in-app option to message us, the message you write is sent to us so we can reply.
The one-time SpiritKit unlock (£3.99) is processed by the Apple App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage the purchase; it receives only anonymised app identifiers and Apple purchase receipts — never your personal details, photos or audio. See Apple’s privacy policy for how Apple handles payments.
SpiritKit collects no personal data from anyone, including minors. The anonymous usage events described above contain no personal information and cannot identify any individual.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new effective date.
